Lionel Messi celebrated wife Antonela Roccuzzo’s birthday with a party at a lavish Japanese steakhouse in Miami on Saturday night.

Messi was on hand with two goals in a 5-0 victory for Inter Miami earlier in the day, when his side dismantled Orlando City at Chase Stadium to claim their second win of the new MLS season.

The Argentine’s close friend Luis Suarez also scored his first goals for Miami on the day, opening the scoring after four minutes before adding a second seven minutes later.

It was the perfect afternoon for Miami, who have now taken seven points from their first three games of the campaign – and there were double celebrations for the Messi family on Saturday night as they toasted Antonela’s birthday.

Five days after she turned 36, the Miami WAG was spotted with husband Leo at Japanese-inspired Miami steakhouse Gekko, where they posed in front of a huge birthday cake boasting pictures of Antonela and her family.

Messi took to Instagram to wish his childhood sweetheart a happy birthday on Monday as he publicly told her: ‘Happy Birthday, Princess! I love you @antonelarocuzzo.’

The couple were also pictured with their three children – sons, Thiago, 11, Matteo, 8, and Ciro, 5 – on her birthday as they posed in front of multicolor balloons, a cardboard sign of Pocahontas and a wall sticker, which read ‘Happy Birthday Anto.’

‘Un ano mas viejita,’ Antonela, now 36, wrote as a caption to her Instagram post of family photos, as it directly translates to ‘one year older’ in English.

Victoria Beckham also wished Antonela a happy birthday on Instagram, sharing a picture of them both from what appeared to be a girls lunch.

Saturday began a month of seven matches for Messi and Miami, while his native Argentina has also called him up for two exhibitions during a four-day stretch later in March.

Miami coach Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino said Friday that Messi’s playing time will be carefully monitored.

In addition to five league matches, Inter Miami will face Nashville SC in a home-and-home set of the CONCACAF Nations Cup round of 16.

Argentina will play El Salvador on March 22 and Costa Rica on March 26 as precursors to Copa America later this summer.
