Kristie Mewis has shared the adorable nickname she and fiancée Sam Kerr use for their baby boy, Jagger.

The 34-year-old midfielder of the USWNT, celebrated the arrival of her son Jagger in May, and she recently shared a photo of the two of them watching Kerr play for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Yet, the moment transcended football. Mewis disclosed their sweet nickname for their son, “Mr. Moo Moo,” in the caption. She also encouraged her followers to share the funniest nicknames they have for their own children.

Kerr, however, had a cheekier alternative, commenting: “Mr. sh**througheverything” – a label many new parents will relate to.

Mewis and Kerr, who recently achieved her 100th career goal for Chelsea, started their relationship during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and went public with it the following year.

They got engaged in November 2023 and have since spoken openly about their relationship and visibility.

In an interview with Gaffer before their engagement, Mewis expressed, “Being open and in love as two women, if we can positively influence even one or two lives regarding their feelings about each other, it holds great significance for me.

“I enjoy showcasing my relationship on social media,” she continued. “If we can alter how one or two people perceive themselves, they might see our happiness and our stride toward success as an openly gay couple. I believe that’s incredibly vital.”
