Gwyneth Paltrow Verdict:- Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress and businesswoman who is the recipient of various accolades such as an Academy Award, A Golden Globe Award, and the Primetime Emmy Award. She was sued by Terry Sanderson for $3.1 million in January 2019 and he claimed that she collided with him on a ski slope at Deer Valley Resort in Utah 3 years earlier and because the collision caused him permanent traumatic brain injury. Gwyneth Paltrow Verdict Revealed
Gwyneth Paltrow was sued by a retired optometrist in January 2019 for $3.1 million. He claimed that there was a collision between them three years ago on a ski slope at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah which caused him permanent traumatic brain injury.
Gwyneth sued him in February 2019 and claimed that he crashed into her. After the collision, she demanded a symbolic one dollar in damages and payment of her legal fees.
The court dismissed the $3.1 million lawsuit but Terry claimed damages for $300k. That lawsuit started in March 2023.
On 30 March 2023, Gwyneth was not found liable by the Jury. The jury ruled in her favor in her counterclaim against Terry after debating for over two hours. She won the Ski Collision Lawsuit.
Wins Ski Collision Lawsuit
Before Verdict was announced, Sanderson’s attorney Robert Sykes said,
“Part of him will always be on that mountain. We hope that you will help bring Terry home off that mountain with a fair verdict for today.”
Gwyneth’s lawyer Steve Owens said,
“It’s actually wrong that he hurt her, and he wants money from her. He’s entitled to be here today, but he’s not entitled to be rewarded for hurting her.”
Gwyneth’s other lawyer James Egan said,
“Ms. Paltrow wants him off the mountain, too, but she should not be responsible for the cost of that.”
When the court ruled in Gwyneth’s favor, she released a statement and said,
“I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”
Gwyneth’s lawyer Steve Owens’s statement said,
“We are pleased with this unanimous outcome and appreciate the judge and jury’s thoughtful handling of the case. Gwyneth has a history of advocating for what she believes in – this situation was no different and she will continue to stand up for what is right.”

Terry told the media outside the court that as the verdict was announced, Gwyneth placed her hand on his shoulder and said,
“I wish you well.”
Terry said that Gwyneth thinks she has the truth but he didn’t present any falsehoods.
