As a full-time anchor and reporter at South Bend, Indiana’s ABC network affiliate (now a Fox affiliate), WSJV-TV, Browne got experience working for network affiliates. The Michigan Bureau of the station was led by Browne.
Browne joined News 12 Long Island, a 24-hour cable news station serving Nassau and Suffolk on Long Island. She covered significant events alongside New York City reporters for several years while working as a general assignment reporter.
