Jodhveer Singh Dhaliwal donated $13,000 to Freedom Convoy through the Go Fund Me platform. It has put NDP leader Jagmeet Singh in a bind.

The lawmaker from Canada is being questioned regarding a gift to Freedom Convoy made by a relative. The public has scolded him because he opposes the demonstration, despite the fact that his relative has donated and shown his support.

Jodhveer Singh Dhaliwal Donates To Freedom Convoy On Go Fund Me

Jodhveer Singh Dhaliwal is one of the top Go Fund Me donors for the ongoing Freedom Convoy rally. He is NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh’s brother-in-law.

According to GoFundMe records, he has donated $13,000 to the rally’s organizers. In response, the MP stated that he opposes a campaign based on “extremist and dangerous ideas.”

He also stated that he “vehemently” opposes his brother-in-decision law’s to donate. As a result, he chastised a convoy of truckers and others who traveled to Ottawa to protest a government law requiring all cross-border drivers to be immunized against COVID-19.

According to the politician, some demonstrators are spreading “false information” by making “inflammatory, divisive, and hurtful comments.”

Furthermore, he stated that his brother-in-law did not fully comprehend the rally and the group. And they have already begun the process of returning the donated funds.

Who Is Jagmeet Singh Brother In Law?

Jodhveer Singh Dhaliwal is married to Jagmeet Singh’s wife’s sister. As a result, he is the MP’s brother-in-law. According to the National Post, Dhaliwal is also related to Liberal MP Ruby Sahota, who represents the Brampton North riding in Ontario.

He had previously been charged with assault causing bodily harm. The incident occurred during a clash between Sikh activists and protestors in support of India’s government.

The charges were later dropped, but the victim expressed his anger at the prosecution’s decision. He said that no one consulted him before making the decision, and he believed that outside forces were at play.

The victim, Yashdeep Shinde, also alleges that he felt like justice was not served.

Who Is Jodhveer Singh Dhaliwal Wife?

The name of Jodhveer Singh’s wife is unknown at this time. His wife, on the other hand, is Jagmeet Singh’s sister.

Dhaliwal and Singh are related and have previously made headlines. Furthermore, they appear to be opposing the ongoing Freedom Convoy issue. However, the MP claims it was a mistake.
