Bondi coronavirus clinic inundated after two schools close

Dozens of people in cars lined up waiting for the coronavirus test, as several new cases were confirmed in the local area.

The advice from NSW Health officials is that anyone with even the mildest of symptoms should go and get tested.

Earlier today, a primary school student from Moriah College in Queens Park was confirmed to have coronavirus, and all children were sent home.

Less than two kilometres down the road, students were sent home from Waverley College after a Year 7 boy tested positive to COVID-19.

The diagnosis comes after St Ignatius’ College Riverview was abruptly closed last week after a student tested positive.

Day students were immediately sent home and boarders told to return to their boarding houses.

A handful of other schools in Sydney, including in Epping, Normanhurst and St Marys, have all closed their doors temporarily after positive cases.
