The reunion outshone ABC’s recent Golden Girls 40th Anniversary Special by an impressive 85 percent, which attracted 3.41 million viewers on November 11. It also surpassed the Country Music Awards by 5 percent, which drew 6.03 million viewers on November 19. Furthermore, this event marked CBS’s highest-viewed special since The 77th Emmy Awards on September 14, which garnered 7.59 million viewers.
Broadcast from a recreated Barone living room, the reunion featured cast members Ray Romano (Ray), Patricia Heaton (Debra), Brad Garrett (Robert), Monica Horan (Amy), Madylin Sweeten (Ally), and Sullivan Sweeten (Michael), alongside series creator Phil Rosenthal. Together, they shared cherished memories of their favorite episodes, behind-the-scenes stories, and reflected on the lasting impact of the beloved, multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy.
