ERWIN, Tenn. (WJHL) – In a proactive effort to combat the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the Appalachia Resource Conservation and Development Council (ARC&D) recently hosted its inaugural workshop dedicated to equipping volunteers with the skills necessary to tackle riverbank erosion. The workshop, held in Erwin, Tennessee, attracted community members eager to learn and contribute to the preservation of their local environment.
