JPMorgan Chase is keen on having its employees work from the office five days a week, enticing them with a new, amenity-rich tower at 270 Park Avenue, New York.
The newly completed 60-story “supertall” skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan is set to open shortly. Standing at 1,389 feet, this building will be the U.S. headquarters for the company’s 14,000 area employees, boasting the title of the tallest New York structure fully powered by hydroelectric energy.

The tower includes a gym with the latest cardio, strength, and recovery equipment, along with daily exercise classes and a high-end locker room. While New York Post reports some employee frustration on Reddit about potential fees for gym access, no pricing has been established yet.
“Everything is still being finalized,” a JPMorgan rep told the outlet.
For dining options, typical skyscraper cafeteria food doesn’t suffice for the employees of America’s largest bank. Instead, JPMorgan’s Real Estate Head, David Arena, envisioned something akin to “Eataly or even better.” This vision resulted in a 19-restaurant food hall curated by Danny Meyer’s Hospitality Group, the team behind Shake Shack and other renowned eateries.
