Two of the four members of Blackpink are having phenomenal weeks on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart, just as the girl group reforms to release a new single titled “Jump.” Both Rosé and Lisa make history with tracks that find space on the radio roster, though they do so in different ways. While Lisa advances again and hits an impressive new peak position, Rosé scores a new win thanks to an exciting collaboration, one that helps her tie with some of the biggest names in K-pop history.
Rosé Joins Alex Warren on “On My Mind”
Rosé recently teamed up with newcomer Alex Warren for his single “On My Mind,” which is set to be featured on his upcoming debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid. That project is scheduled to drop on July 18, and Warren is hoping that a feature from Rosé will help “On My Mind” become a major hit, just as “Ordinary” — the project’s breakout tune — has already proved to be on the Billboard rankings. “On My Mind” opens at No. 29 on this week’s Adult Pop Airplay chart.
A Historic Third Win for Rosé
With “On My Mind,” Rosé earns her third solo win on the Adult Pop Airplay list. As she earns one more hit, the Blackpink singer advances on the all-time ranking of the most successful K-pop acts in the history of the tally. She is now matched with BTS, that band’s Jung Kook and her own bandmate Lisa for the most placements among K-pop artists on the Adult Pop Airplay roster.
Rosé’s History on the Adult Pop Airplay Chart
Rosé first arrived on the tally under her own name in November 2024, joined by Bruno Mars on “Apt.” The two would go on to peak in the runner-up spot, scoring the highest-charting tune of all time by any K-pop star on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking and missing out on the summit by just one space.
In March of this year, “Toxic Till the End,” another single pushed from her solo album Rosie, peaked at No. 38 on the 40-position roster.
Blackpink’s Singers Join the top K-Pop Stars
BTS earned all three of its Adult Pop Airplay chart hits in just over a year. The group arrived for the first time with “Dynamite” in September 2020, returned with “Butter” in May 2021, and by October of that year, “My Universe,” a collaboration with Coldplay, debuted on the list.
Jung Kook, one of the seven members of BTS, achieved a similar feat as “Left and Right” with Charlie Puth, “Seven” with Latto, and “Too Much” with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee all landed on the ranking in less than a year and a half.
All three of Lisa’s tracks to appear on the Adult Pop Airplay chart — “Moonlit Floor,” “Born Again” with Doja Cat and Raye, and now “Priceless” alongside Maroon 5 — have debuted in the first half of 2025.
