The Saudi Pro League are planning another Premier League summer raid, according to a report.

A number of stars from England’s top division made the jump to the Middle East last summer, including the likes of Jordan Henderson, Edouard Mendy and Riyad Mahrez.

While they have had varied success, the league has no doubt increased in popularity over the last few months due to the profile of players that are now playing in it, a feat they were unable to boast before.

There are reportedly at least nine players that are being targeted, with some of the Premier League’s top names potentially on the move.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is perhaps the main player that is being targeted, with Liverpool set to enter a new era when manager Jurgen Klopp leaves at the end of the season.

Salah was linked with a move to the league in the summer of last year, with Liverpool said to have rejected a mega-money offer for his services.

The Egyptian will be one of the players targeted with the league’s deep pockets, with the Saudi Pro League’s summer spend of £757million second only to the Premier League’s £1.1billion in the world.

Salah’s Liverpool team-mates Alisson and Virgil van Dijk are also reportedly being targeted, with it unclear how many players will be willing to stay with the Reds upon Klopp’s exit.

Manchester City are also set to be targeted, the report claims, with Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva high on the wish lists of sides.

The same can be said for Manchester United, with captain Bruno Fernandes and midfielder Casemiro also being monitored.

The ninth player who is said to be high in demand is Andreas Pereira of Fulham.
