U.S. stock futures and Treasury yields remained higher after figures showed that consumer-spending growth cooled last month.

Futures for the S&P 500 gained 0.1% Thursday. The index climbed for a second day Wednesday as strong economic data helped ease investors’ concerns about the risks posed by Covid-19 and inflation.
