The victim of a tragic accident at a Westwood supermarket has been identified as 42-year-old Deris Renoj, a mother who lost her life in the incident.

The heartbreaking event occurred at the 99 Ranch Market on Thursday, when an elderly woman lost control of her vehicle, hitting a cyclist before crashing into the store. The collision resulted in the deaths of Renoj and two others, while six more individuals sustained injuries. Authorities have indicated that the driver’s actions were likely accidental.

According to ABC 7, the identities of the other two victims, a 55-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, remain undisclosed. The tragic incident took place in the bakery section of the store where all three victims were present.

Among those who perished, two were employees of the Asian grocery store, which has been left reeling from the loss.

In the aftermath, distraught family members gathered across the street from the crash site, their grief evident as they mourned their loved ones.

The driver, whose identity is yet to be revealed, is described as being around 70 years old and was operating a 2023 Mercedes Benz with California plates. She was assessed by medical professionals on the scene, but it remains uncertain whether a medical condition played a role in the unfortunate event.

“This does not seem to be of any ill intent,” Los Angeles Fire Department captain Erik Scott said. “[The crash] does not seem to be an intentional act, but rather being investigated, so far, as an accidental traffic collision.”

The Post obtained exclusive video of the crash, which featured several victims lying on the ground and one of the hood of the driver’s car.

The Los Angeles Police Department said it was “doing a thorough investigation to determine the surrounding circumstances that led up” to the wreck.
