Car crashes into Queensland dam

Six people have been injured after a car crashed into a dam in Queensland’s south-east.

Queensland Ambulance said paramedics are treating six patients following the single vehicle crash in Wyaralong Dam on Beaudesert Boonah Road about 2pm today.

Critical care crews are also on the scene and rescue helicopters have been called.

A car has crashed into water at a dam in Queensland’s south-east.

Police have closed the road in both direction and have urged motorists to avoid the area.

Meanwhile, officers responding to the crash rolled their patrol car arriving at the scene.

It is not known whether any officers were injured in the roll-over.
