Camille Soriano is a French football referee who began her officiating career in 2010 and has been recognized as a FIFA referee since 2019. Most notably, she was an assistant referee during the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final featuring England versus Spain, held on Sunday, July 27, at St. Jakob-Park Stadium in Basel, Switzerland.
Starting her refereeing journey at 15, Soriano became involved with the Centre-Val de Loire League in September 2018, aligning with US Chambray (formerly FC Nantes) as a referee. Since January 2018, she has been actively officiating in D1 Women’s football at the highest level.
On May 31, 2018, Soriano took charge of the Coupe de France Féminine final, featuring Paris Saint-Germain against Olympique Lyonnais (now OL Lyonnais), the reigning champions of that year’s D1F league and the Champions League, at Stade de la Meinau in Strasbourg, France.
Speaking about her selection for the final of the French Women’s Cup, Soriano said a few hours before the event: “I learned of the selection for this final two weeks ago, Stéphanie Frappart called me to let me know. It was obviously a great joy and a great pride to referee two of the biggest European teams.”
