Kristen Stewart stole the spotlight at the Love Lies Bleeding premiere in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old Twilight alum left onlookers in awe as she graced the red carpet in an eye-popping ensemble, just two weeks after surprising fans with her Rolling Stones cover featuring a jockstrap.

Rocking a barely-there black bodysuit, the gorgeous star paired the look with sheer stockings and impossibly high black heels.

She casually draped a black tuxedo jacket off her shoulders, complementing her look as she gathered her brunette tresses into a messy yet stylish bun.

Kristen was joined by a cavalcade of celebrities at the event, including Jena Malone, Katy O’Brian, Anna Baryshnikov, Rose Glass, Thora Birch, Jackson Rathbone, and Catherine Hardwicke.

Written and directed by Rose Glass, the film features Kristen as Lou, a secluded gym manager captivated by the ambitious bodybuilder Jackie (played by Katy O’Brian).Their passionate love story takes a dark turn, entangling them in the criminal web of Lou’s family, with Ed Harris, Dave Franco, and Jena Malone portraying her relatives.

‘It is a violent film,’ Glass told the crowd during the Sundance Film Festival, per Variety.

‘Violence can be great fun in films. We had amazing VFX and stunt coordinators, and the sound design was genius. Every department, you just have to try to push it to the max.’

Before the premiere, O’Brian discussed with the outlet her preparation for the role of the ultra-ripped Jackie.

Having appeared in The Mandalorian and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, O’Brian, familiar with bodybuilding competitions, handled the physical demands of the role well.

Yet, she found delving into the character’s mental headspace more challenging. f

‘This role scared me. It was something I’d never done before. It was an intense part,’ she explained.

‘I worked with an acting coach, and we broke down the character.’

Jena, embodying the character’s sister, delved into the unique process of crafting their authentic and compelling sisterly connection. ‘

‘We tackled each other a lot. It was very tactile,’ she said. ‘We have a kindred spirit.’

Kristen’s jaw-dropping red carpet appearance comes after she spoke about the reaction to her Rolling Stones cover during the Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin.

‘The existence of a female body thrusting any type of sexuality at you that’s not designed for exclusively straight males is something people are not super comfy with and so I’m really happy with it,’ the Oscar-nominated actress said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

For the magazine photoshoot, the Los Angeles native adorned a jockstrap and basketball shorts, striking poses within the backdrop of a weathered weight room.

She spilled the beans on her creative vibe for the photoshoot, mentioning how she absolutely ‘loved’ being in the spotlight’ for it.

‘It’s okay to take different pictures and mix them up in a way that people aren’t used to and want to go and that’s okay, too,’ she said.

‘In fact, it’s pervasive and it’s everywhere and it’s being denied and it’s crazy that there aren’t more pictures like that.’

Kristen, who identifies as bisexual, conveyed that she believes the time of exclusively defining films as ‘queer’ is a thing of the past.

‘I think things develop and move on,’ she said. ‘It’s just so inherent to how we’re all moving forward.’

Love Lies Bleeding will be released theatrically in the United States by A24 on March 8, 2024, and in the United Kingdom by Lionsgate UK on May 3, 2024.
