Michelle Keegan‘s followers had to do a double-take in one of her recent Instagram Stories as she shared a 14-year-old throwback with her cousins.

The actress, 34, looked almost unrecognisable in the photograph shared to her account on Monday from one of her cousin’s birthdays.

The former Coronation Street star recently recreated the fresh-faced image and posed in the same line up with her family members.

The Our Girl leading actress lined up with her three cousins to recreate the photo they had taken in 2008.

Michelle captioned the before and after shot: ’14 years apart. Happy birthday to my big cuz Gem-ma.’

Michelle, who played fictional character Tina McIntyre in Corrie at the time, opted to go for a light dusting of make-up for the photo, letting her naturally beautiful features do the work.

She let her voluminous locks fall over her face in a fuss-free tousled style, while her large earrings resembled that of her soap character at the time.

Meanwhile, in the new image she swept her brunette locks up into a chic ponytail while enhancing her features with a glamorous coat of make-up.

Meanwhile, the TV star recently hinted at an exciting new project as she prepared to jet off on a mystery trip on Thursday.

Laden with luggage, the former Corrie star, posed for a quick snap at the airport with her enormous suitcase, as the post was flooded with comments of well wishes.

She was beaming in the Instagram post, as she slipped into a comfortable teal tracksuit and included a sweet quote about adventure for her followers.

Michelle slung a black Prada bag across her body and added a chunky pair of white trainers to complete her casual look.

Her long brunette locks were pulled back into a practical high ponytail as she went fresh-faced and showcased her radiant complexion.

Alongside the photo, she included a graphic that read: ‘The greatest danger in life is not taking the adventure.’

It comes as BAFTA TV Awards viewers were left cringing earlier this month as they watched an awkward exchange between Michelle and Tom Daley on stage at London‘s Royal Festival Hall.

The actress and the Olympic diver, 27, took to the stage to present an award at the glitzy event.

They proceeded to engage in a light-hearted chat in which Michelle questioned why Tom wasn’t wearing any of his knitted creation’s but Tom’s attempt at humour unfortunately fell flat as it failed to raise a laugh.

Michelle looked sensational on the night, gliding across the stage in a shimmering pale pink gown, while Tom turned heads in a quirky white co-ord with asymmetrical blue-and-yellow paintbrush prints.

But while their fashion senses were up to scratch, their humour fell short, as Michelle kicked things off by asking why Tom – who is an avid knitter and has launched his own collection of craft kits – wasn’t wearing any of his own handmade items.

Responding to Michelle disappointment, Tom quipped: ‘Well how do you know I’ve not got my knit knickers on?’ as he tugged at his trousers.

To which Michelle replied: ‘Aah OK, there we go! So we now know.’

The sportsman then told her: ‘I can teach you to make some for yourself if you like?’, with Michelle then adding: ‘OK, Tom!’ as she fanned herself with the gold envelope.

Their exchange failed to raise any laughs and was met with silence from the audience, with Tom swiftly moving on to present the award.
