NBA YoungBoy was arrested along with 15 others in 2020 on suspicion of possession of stolen firearms and distributing drugs.

According to Rolling Stone, the rapper’s trial date has been set for May 16 in Louisiana’s Middle District. YoungBoy has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Baton Rouge artist was taken into custody March 22 after the rapper led them on a high-speed chase. He then hopped out of his vehicle and fled on foot. Prosecutors say they found a weapon inside the vehicle YoungBoy was driving. YoungBoy was eventually given a pretrial release to Utah.
