Sam will be missed in Nollywood as an actor, producer, filmmaker, and chairman of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN).
Many of his close friends and family took to social media to let out their feelings.
One of his colleagues wrote, “He has been ill for a while now. So yesterday, he started feeling very ill, and he was rushed to the hospital at midnight. He gave up in the early hours of today.”

The veteran actor was 61 years old and survived by his wife and two adult sons at the time of his death.
