Brynn Whitfield shared “a little life update” on June 9 in which she confirmed she was stepping away from The Real Housewives of New York City.
“After much contemplation, I’ve decided to step back from reality TV, at least for now,” she announced in a statement on her Instagram Stories on Monday. Brynn also shared her reflections on her experience with RHONY in the statement:
“Being part of The Real Housewives of New York City has been one of the most entertaining, unpredictable, and enchanting times in my life. It was a privilege of a lifetime to play a role in revamping such a legendary series,” she expressed. “From the very beginning, I believed RHONY is a show for the fans—we are merely temporary caretakers of something that truly belongs to the audience. I hope I made you laugh a great deal, cry just a little, and more than anything, I hope there’s a TV in heaven so that Mimi (who absolutely loved her shows) could watch me and feel proud. To everyone who took a chance on me, supported me, and showed me kindness and understanding—thank you. My gratitude is limitless.”
