Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, recently voiced concerns that the United States is on a precarious path, predicting that the nation’s white population will become a minority within two decades. During a heated exchange with CNN’s Donnie O’Sullivan for a segment on the show “MisinfoNation: White Genocide,” the 79-year-old businessman expressed his frustration. The episode addresses claims of a so-called ‘white genocide’ against South African farmers, a narrative previously promoted by figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

O’Sullivan pointed out to Musk that one of the current significant topics in the U.S. revolves around its demographic changes, noting that America is projected to transition into a minority white nation within the next 20 years. This revelation seemed to unsettle the elder Musk, who argued that such a demographic shift would negatively impact the country. He questioned the implications, rhetorically asking if this potential change would mark the decline of American technological and automotive advancement, before making a controversial remark about returning to primitive conditions.

Furthermore, Errol Musk sparked controversy by denying the oppression of minorities during Apartheid in South Africa, which visibly upset O’Sullivan. Musk claimed he had not witnessed minority oppression during that era, asserting that white South Africans had adopted practices from Europe. O’Sullivan countered by highlighting the historical oppression of millions of Black people. Musk refuted this, suggesting that providing employment and sustenance was a form of support, not oppression. He argued that the growth of the Black population was evidence of their well-being, insisting that they thrived because they were nourished, challenging the narrative of oppression.

As O’Sullivan said that Musk should ‘understand that the Black population here was so oppressed under Apartheid’, the businessman said he ‘never saw this oppression you’re talking about.’ ‘You never saw it?’ O’Sullivan responded, and after Musk doubled down, he added: ‘Yeah, because you’re white.’ The focus on the US population becoming minority white stems from recent projections from the census bureau, which found that the demographics could see whites become a minority by 2045. The data shows that minorities will total 51 percent of the population within the next 20 years, including 24.6 percent Hispanic, 13.1 percent black, and 7.9 percent Asian.

The interview comes weeks after a bombshell report in the New York Times alleged that Errol was accused of sexually abusing five of his children and stepchildren since 1993. The report claimed that the explosive allegations are why his son Elon, the richest man in the world, has been estranged from his father for years. Among the most disturbing of the allegations are that one of Errol’s stepchildren that he was accused of touching was just four years old at the time, and claims that he went on to have a child with her. On several occasions, family members have contacted Elon for assistance and he has sometimes taken action to intervene, the Times reported.

Errol is accused of sexually abusing five of his children and stepchildren in South Africa and California, as per police and court records, personal correspondence, social workers and interviews with relatives, the Times reported. The earliest allegation dates back to 1993 when the businessman’s stepdaughter, then four years old, accused him of touching her at a family house. Over the three decades of allegations, three separate police investigations were opened, according to records and relatives cited by The New York Times.

But none have yielded any results, and Errol has not been convicted of any crime. Two of the inquiries ended, while it’s not clear how the third concluded. Errol fiercely denied the allegations to The New York Times, calling them concocted by family members who were ‘putting the children up to say false things’ in an attempt to swindle money from Elon. The patriarch called the reports ‘false and nonsense in the extreme’.

He claimed he had a positive relationship with the X owner and that the two of them are ‘very close’. In one email, Errol claimed to be aware of only a single abuse accusation, while simultaneously offering explanations for the circumstances around two others, The New York Times reported.
