Elliot Blair Death And Obituary: Public Defender Died After Falling From Hotel Balcony
Elliot Blair, a public defender from California, was discovered dead while on a trip to celebrate his first wedding anniversary.
Authorities in Baja California declared on Monday that the death of an Orange County deputy public defender last weekend at a Mexican beach resort was an “unfortunate accident.”

However, a law enforcement source informed ABC News on Monday that there are discrepancies in the official account.
According to the source, Blair, 33, had a forehead injury “that would not have been caused by a fall.” The information has not been confirmed by The Post.
The shocking accusations follow statements made in his GoFundMe by his family, friends, and coworkers that he “was the victim of a horrible crime.”
He and his wife, Kim Williams, a fellow public defender, were in Mexico to mark their first wedding anniversary at the opulent Las Rocas Resort and Spa, located approximately 40 miles south of San Diego.

Elliot Blair’s Death Leaves His Family Devastated
California lawyer Elliot Blair’s mother, Stella, said she is “beyond heartbroken” as the family keeps pressing Mexican authorities for information.
Elliot’s mother, Stella Blair, cried when she spoke to The Post on Tuesday from her Placentia, California, home.

She claimed that the outpouring of support from her son’s friends and coworkers at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, where he had worked since 2017, had left her speechless.
Additionally, she said, “He had so many friends, and each friend can’t believe they have lost him.”
She added it was incredible how they all felt like he was their brother. With encouraging words, he boosted the spirits of everyone he encountered.
Not to mention, Stella refused to comment further, saying that the family’s lawyers are investigating the circumstances surrounding her son’s untimely demise.

Elliot’s wife Kimberly is also a Public defender in Orange County, CA.
Sadly, she lost her husband while celebrating their first anniversary at Las Rocas Resort and Spa in Rosarito Beach. The horrible incident happened on January 14.

Blair’s former coworker John Jenks, a private investigator and forensic addiction counselor, said: “When I found out about Elliott Blair’s passing today, it hit me like a gut punch.
He added Blair was well-prepared, knew the law inside and out, was fantastic in court, and gave a relatable, grounded performance.
Elliot left behind his wife, Kim, his mother, Stella Blair, his sister Candice Wilson, his nephew Samuel, and all his wonderful friends and family.
