E’s “Daddy I’m In Love With A Gangster,” a radio and street success for Knightowl, catapulted him to fame.

Although English is the most prevalent language in Knightowl’s raps, he also raps in Caló (Chicano) and Spanglish.

Knightowl and “Mr. Lil’ One” created a partnership for the Hollow-point collaboration endeavor in 2000.

The partnership gave The Little & The Owl album.

Mr. Knightowl is regarded as one of the best on the West Coast.

In 1994, Eazy-E, the founder of Ruthless Records and a member of the NWA, planned to sign Knightowl, DJ Mikeski, and Mr. Lil One. from South San Diego as a counter-punch to Deathrow Records, Suge Knight, and Dre.

This arrangement did not materialize due to Eazy-untimely demise.

Knightowl is one of the most well-known names in Chicano rap.

He had collaborated with several notable musicians, including Big Syke, Daz Dillinger, Kid Frost, Eazy-E, Lil Rob, Mr. Criminal, and David Salas.
