Lee Min-ho is a South Korean actor. His professional acting career started in the early 2000s. After a series of auditions, he landed small roles in such TV shows as Nonstop 5 in 2004 and Recipe of Love in 2005. He next appeared in such shows as Mackerel Run, I Am Sam, and Get Up. In 2009, he had his major breakthrough after he landed a lead role in the TV series Boys Over Flowers. For his performance, he won the Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards. His popularity continued growing with starring roles in other shows, including Personal Taste and City Hunter. After starring in the 2012 period drama Faith, he enjoyed greater stardom with the TV show, The Heirs, co-starring Park Shin-hye and Kim Woo-bin. After three years, he returned to TV with Legends of the Blue Sea where he starred alongside Jun Ji-hyun. In 2020, he starred in the fantasy drama The King: Eternal Monarch with Kim Go-eun. Lee Min-ho’s most recent work on television was in Apple TV+ series Pachinko. As a movie star, the actor has had performances in a couple of feature films, which include Public Enemy Returns, Our School’s E.T., Gangnam Blues, and Bounty Hunters.
