Mary J Blige gave a bit of insight into just how bad things got, between her ex-husband Kendu Isaacs and herself. MTO News has learned that after divorcing Kendu, he took every penny she had – and Mary could no longer pay her rent!

Mary J Blige disclosed some intimate details from her new album, in particular a new song called “Rent Money.”

Mary explained, “I had to give [Kendu] all this alimony. And I couldn’t give anymore because he spent it all.” She continued, :I had to go on tour just to get the money to pay [Kendu’s] alimony and I didn’t have the money to pay my rent.”
