Major General Matthew Holmes is the commander of the Kingdom Maries between 2019 and April this year.

From 2006 to 2008, Maj Gen Holmes ordered 42 Marines of the Royal Command and was appointed as a respected service companion for his leadership on the operation in Afghanistan in 2007.

He was appointed as the commander of the Marine Royal and a commander of the British Empire command in 2019.
On October 2, 2021, Holmes died suddenly at the age of 54 years.
