New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested on a battery charge in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says he was arrested hours after the Pro Bowl. He allegedly battered the victim at a Las Vegas nightclub at 5:50 p.m.

No further details about the assault have been released and Kamara’s team has not issued a statement about the alleged arrest. 

Kamara was transported to the Clark County Detention Center, where the he was booked for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said. An investigation into the incident though is still on-going and the police has issued a statement about the arrest and asking those with any information to come forward.
