Early Life

After a brief lull in 2009, she regained the national longboard champion title in 2010, followed by a European surf championship in 2011 and a victory at the WQS 6000 Surf Pro in Portugal in 2012. In 2013, Dupont contributed to France’s first ISA World Team title and made history as the first woman to surf the 15m Belharra in the French Basque Country. The following year, she won the European longboard championship and the LQS Vieux Boucau. Further triumphs came in 2015 with both national longboard and surf championships. Recognized as the top female big wave surfer globally by 2019, Dupont won the ISA stand-up paddle world titles in both solo and team categories and the ISA longboard world team title. That year, she also received her first two XXL Awards for Performance of the Year and Biggest Wave. She continued her winning streak in 2020 with another Performance of the Year award and her first Ride of the Year accolade, alongside securing the inaugural WSL Nazaré Tow Challenge. Dupont repeated this triumph in 2021, earning XXL Awards for Performance of the Year, Ride of the Year, and Biggest Wave of the Year. In 2022 and 2023, she won Ride of the Year and Biggest Wave of the Year again, and in 2023, she claimed her fourth Performance of the Year award. Among her 2023 feats, she surfed a colossal wave at the remote Cortes Bank off Southern California and was part of the first female group at the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational. She returned to the Eddie in 2024, and in 2025, Dupont won her third WSL Nazaré Tow Challenge, finishing second in the men’s division of the event.

In 2020, Dupont was appointed chair of the new ISA Athletes’ Commission for the Tokyo Summer Olympics, where surfing was introduced as an Olympic sport.
