Randy Travis does not require a Wheelchair now.

Randy Travis underwent brain surgery in 2013 and was hospitalized for six months while he regained his strength. With the assistance of his wife and physical treatment, he learned to walk and speak.

He also visited the 2019 CMA Fest, where he signed autographs and posed for photos with fans.

Randy’s then-fiancee Mary had similarly been advised by physicians that his chances of survival were barely one percent. They also suggested that she consider turning off his life support.

Mary, on the other hand, did not budge and remained by his side. Mary informed the medics that he had gripped her hand even when she was in a semi-coma and that they would battle this together.
