Lewis Hamilton’s mother, Carmen Larbalestier, is a British citizen.

Lewis was born on January 7, 1985, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England.

His father, Anthony Hamilton, is of Grenadian descent, while his mother, Carmen Larbalestier, is White British and from Birmingham, making him a mixed-race child.

Lewis has also been a vocal proponent of the anti-racism movement and the promotion of racial diversity.

Hamilton’s biological mother, Carmen, is a racing driver.

Lewis was raised by his mother, Carmen, until he was twelve years old, when Anthony and Carmen separated.

Later, he and his father, Anthony, stepmother, Linda, and half-brother, Nicolas, relocated.

Even though Lewis and Carmen lived on opposite sides of the country, they had a deep friendship. Similarly, Larbalestier is frequently seen on her son’s big race day.
