Relationship, Marriage, and Divorce
Alexander and King met in 1994 and began dating for three years before deciding to marry, according to several accounts. They had a kid together, and everything seemed to be going well until King announced her divorce from her husband in 2006.
Later, it was revealed that he had an extramarital affair and that Regina had caught him in the act with the lady. While the identity of the person with whom he was having an affair was not made public, several sources claim that it had been going on for some time.
After her divorce, Regina took custody of their son, and raised him as a single mom. Prior to marrying Ian, it was known that she had a relationship with actor Curtis Baldwin, but details about their relationship have also been scarce.

Aftermath
Ian has remained out of the spotlight after his divorce, and there are no specifics regarding his current efforts, including his current relationship, if one exists. Since they had a kid together, he has maintained communication with his ex-wife.
Regina, on the other hand, has moved on and is dating other people. She was said to be dating actor Nicholas Gonzales, who is five years her junior, in 2007. The connection, however, was short-lived. She also had a love relationship with Quentin Richardson, a professional basketball player, but it did not work out.
She established a long-term relationship with actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner in 2013, who is most known for his roles in shows including “The Cosby Show” and “The Resident.” They were together for two years, but their relationship terminated as well.
Despite this, the two are still on excellent terms, and Malcolm just congratulated her on her Emmy triumph. She has been asked on several talk shows regarding her relationship status, and she has stated that she would consider dating again, but the criteria she seeks have gotten more stringent.
He must recognize that she devotes a significant amount of time to her career and her child. She is also more willing to date guys who are financially successful in the same way she is, rather than those who are only interested in dating her for the money.
