YNW Melly shared that his phone privileges have been taken away.

“To all my loved ones and close friends, I wanted to let everyone know that my phone privileges have been revoked,” he wrote on Instagram. “I am no longer allowed to call or have video visitation, that is the reason why no one has received any calls from me.”

The rapper wished his fans a happy Easter.

“Do not worry, I am in great spirits. My happiness and faith will never be broken. Happy Easter to all my fans and family and friends.”

Melly is standing trial for the murders of two of his friends.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty as they claim “the capital felony was committed for pecuniary gain, the capital felony was especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel, the capital felony was a homicide and was committed in a cold, calculated, and premeditated manner without any pretense of moral or legal justification.”

He denies the murders.
