Beth Hoy is not only a pastor and baker but also a competitor in The Great Australian Bake Off 2025. Her baking journey began with her grandmother, and she associates it with spreading love. Baking has become a cherished activity she enjoys with her three young children. As a pastor, Beth naturally delights in caring for others and often shares her baked goods with her church community.

As an accredited Baptist pastor, Beth co-leads Aberfoyle Park Baptist Church alongside her husband, Llewelyn Hoy. The couple took on their pastoral roles at APBC in 2021, and Beth was ordained there in January 2022. Previously, she was a leader in the Baptist Churches team, focusing on next generational ministry for several years.

Since January 2017, Beth has been a part of Baptist Churches of South Australia and the Northern Territory. From 2008 to 2014, she served as a Youth Worker at All Nations Baptist Church in Seaview, South Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Theology from Tabor College, which she completed in 2015.

Before pursuing her path as a pastor, Beth was trained and worked as a florist. She also has a passion for gardening and takes pride in her vegetable garden. Beth enjoys teaching others how to grow their own food sustainably and affordably.
