Breanna Nix, a 25-year-old from Denton, Texas, has taken the stage as a contestant on American Idol Season 23. As a stay-at-home mom and a singer, she draws inspiration from musical greats like Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Lauren Daigle, Danny Gokey, CeCe Winans, Whitney Houston, Cody Johnson, and George Strait.
Born in Odessa and raised in Denton, Breanna shared with Billboard that music is deeply embedded in her life: “Growing up, my mom sang in a family trio for fun, making music a constant presence.
