Mark Tuttiett leads the culinary team at Da Terra, an acclaimed eatery nestled in London’s Bethnal Green. Under the guidance of Chef Patron Rafael Cagali, who draws inspiration from his Brazilian and Italian roots as well as his global culinary experiences, Da Terra has garnered two prestigious Michelin stars since its inception in 2019, solidifying its place as one of London’s top fine-dining spots.
Hailing from Clevedon in Somerset, Mark’s affinity for local produce and seasonal cooking was cultivated early in life, shaping the essence of his culinary style. His career in gastronomy has taken him through the ranks of several of London’s esteemed kitchens, including the two-Michelin-starred Kitchen Table, The Typing Room, and Alain Ducasse.
At Da Terra, Mark collaborates closely with Rafael to craft a menu that marries innovative technique with creative flavor pairings, all while showcasing prime British ingredients. The restaurant’s Michelin-starred acclaim is a testament to the culinary excellence upheld by Mark and his team.
