Laurence Louie, a Chinese-American culinary artist, is making waves as a contestant on Top Chef 2026. He owns Rubato HK Café in Quincy, where he offers an inventive twist on Chinese American cuisine. In 2011, Laurence completed a Master’s degree in American Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston. His early career involved community organizing for a nonprofit in Boston’s Chinatown.
