Officers from Southaven responded to the vicinity of Burton Lane concerning a shooting incident. Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of officers and medical personnel who applied life-saving techniques, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The individual has been identified as 52-year-old Reginald Carroll from Maryland.
“One male is in custody and has been charged with the murder of Reginald Carroll. Our thoughts are with the family of Mr. Carroll. We thank the community for their patience and understanding,” stated the Police Department.
