Curran, 85, who founded Screentime, producers of the Underbelly TV franchise, bought the sprawling property in 1981 for $750,000.
After selling his TV stations to Network Ten and Southern Cross in 1996, the media mogul is opting to downsize following the passing of his wife, Eva, in March, as reported by The Wentworth Courier.
Nestled in a serene street within a district famous for housing international diplomats, referred to as the ‘consular belt,’ Curran’s grand estate exemplifies Old World opulence.
