Pete DeJoy, a co-founder and also the chief product officer at Astronomer, is now serving as the interim CEO of the company. He stepped into this role on July 19, 2025, after Andy Byron resigned when he was seen engaging in inappropriate conduct with HR head Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert held at Boston’s Gillette Stadium.

The company communicated on X, stating, “Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently acting as interim CEO since Andy Byron has been put on leave.”
