At 22, Kelarnie Whalen is participating in Season 8 of The Great Australian Bake Off, hosted by Natalie Tran and Tom Walker, with judges Rachel Khoo and Darren Purchese. On Instagram, she shared her excitement: “Hi. So I did something crazy and applied for @bakeoffau last year and after months of stressing, baking and of course eating copious amounts of batters, doughs and crusts, I flew to Sydney and we filmed the show.
“The experience was wild, but I’m happy to announce that it airs on July 29th. I’m nervous yet excited for you to watch me as I navigate the challenges on TV in my baker outfit lol. You can watch on @foxtel @binge.”
