Lily Allen hit back at online trolls on Thursday, who asked her if she would have married a man with ‘no money.’

The singer, 38, shared a sweet post to celebrate her third wedding anniversary with husband David Harbour when she was met by the cruel comment.

Lily, who has tied the knot twice, reportedly holds a net worth of £3.2 million, whereas David has earned £4.8 million from his prosperous acting career.

Posting on Instagram, the entertainer shared a picture of the joyous pair moments following their wedding at the iconic Graceland Wedding Chapel in 2020.

‘3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress,’ she captioned.

Lily could seen in a white 1960s-inspired Dior dress with a matching bridal veil that fell down to her back in two layers and black suede heels.

However, one follower questioned: ‘Would you have married a guy with no money?’

To which Lily replied: ‘Sure. I did in 2011, sadly it didn’t work out though.’

The actress married builder Sam Cooper, 45, in 2011 at St. James Church in Gloucestershire, after two years of dating.

However, their seven year marriage ended in 2018, with the singer later admitting she had cheated on her husband.

She shares daughters Ethel, nine, and Marnie, seven, with Sam. He went on to marry his aristocratic designer partner India Windsor-Clive in 2021.

His new spouse, the daughter of the Earl of Plymouth, traces her lineage to the 18th Century’s Clive of India, known as a contentious military figure and East India Trading Company official.

India and Sam, who reportedly began their relationship a month after his divorce from Lily was finalized, got engaged in January 2021, with Sam joyfully announcing the engagement online, calling himself ‘an incredibly fortunate man.’

Lily previously admitted she cheated on Sam after struggles with fame led her to lose her identity.

In her tell-all book, My Thoughts Exactly, she exposed how a showdown with Sam almost resulted in her being sectioned.

However, Lily mentioned in a June 2018 Loose Women interview that she maintains a ‘very friendly’ bond with Sam, and they have a unique custody setup where they alternate weeks with their daughters.

‘Me and my ex-husband share custody, a week on and a week off, which is useful for my work, when he’s got them, I can do that,’ she added.
