Chef Duyen Ha is a contestant on Season 23 of Top Chef. She announced the news in an Instagram post: “Top Chef Season 23 is heading to the Carolinas! I still can’t believe it. I dream BIG, but I didn’t dream this big. Truly one of the wildest experiences of my life, and all of you lovely people get to watch me sweat more than I thought was humanly possible on national television!”
According to Bravo website, Top Chef Season 23 cheftestants will be competing for the show’s $250,000 grand prize, along with some other major perks, including a feature in Food & Wine magazine, an appearance at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, a chance to headline their own exclusive dinner at the historic James Beard House in New York, and the opportunity to present at The James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards in Chicago, IL.
Along the way, the chefs will also have the chance to win immunity, advantages in the competition, or cash prizes with more than $150,000 in total up for grabs.
