Kimberly Greene Nick Reiner
Currently, Greene is representing Nick Reiner, accused of the tragic December 2025 murder of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner. She stepped into this high-profile case after notable attorney Alan Jackson withdrew as Reiner’s legal counsel.
Known for defending high-profile figures like Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, Jackson did not disclose specific reasons for his withdrawal, only stating that both legal and ethical considerations prevented him from continuing the case.
“There are factors beyond our control, and more critically, beyond Nick’s control, that regrettably make it impossible for us to continue representing him,” Jackson explained.
He added that, after weeks of investigation, “what we’ve learned, and you can take this to the bank, is that pursuant to the laws of this state, pursuant to the law of California, Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder. Print that.”
Rob and Nick Reiner had previously worked together on a film, Being Charlie, which was partially based on the younger Reiner’s struggles with drug addiction and mental health.
