Unfortunately, another uni student tragically passed away this week. Josiah Malachi Kilman was a Campbellsville University student who was found dead in his dorm room.

The young man’s death cause has been reported to be manual strangulation. What’s more, Josiah Malachi Kilman’s murder suspect, Charles Escalera, is already behind bars.

Charles was a wrestling champ in the uni and had a bright future ahead. So, what could have led him to commit such a heinous crime? Or was he involved in it at all?

Who Are Charles E. Escalera Parents?

A Campbellsville student’s passing wouldn’t have generated much attention if not for the fact that it was a cold murder. The young man was only 18, making his loss more tragic.

An arrest warrant was immediately issued for the suspect, Charles E. Escalera, and the guy was caught soon after. He is only 21 years old, making this case more bizarre.

Escalera and Kilman were wrestling teammates who competed alongside one another. Was there any animosity between them? Or did they have an argument or confrontation?

Although not much is known, cops have arrested Charles on suspicion of murder. He is held at the Taylor County Detention Center on murder and burglary charges.
