Gia Giudice expressed that she had absolutely no regrets about her rhinoplasty procedure. But how did her mother, Teresa Giudice, feel about her daughter’s choice? Initially, it appears that the star from The Real Housewives of New Jersey was a bit doubtful.

“I’ve always felt so self-conscious about my nose,” Gia shared recently with Access Hollywood. “When I finally told my mom about my insecurities, she was stunned. She couldn’t fathom that I was genuinely insecure [about my nose]. But after I got the surgery, she said, ‘Oh, it was truly that concerning?’ And I replied, ‘Yes, thank you!'”

Gia, a member of the Next Gen NYC cast, underwent her nose surgery at the end of 2020 and proudly displayed the transformation in a before-and-after photo on Instagram. She attributed her enhanced appearance to Dr. Geoffrey Tobias, a New Jersey-based plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty.

Dr. Tobas shared a closer look at “Gia’s profile transformation” in an April 17 Instagram post.

“We got so many DMs asking to see Gia Giudice’s before—so here it is!” he captioned the carousel. “This photo is from nearly 4 years ago. Her results are subtle, natural, and fit her face beautifully. Four years later, her nose looks fantastic!”

And Gia agreed.

“My nose [job] has been the best decision of my life,” she told Access Hollywood.

RHONJ daughter also took the time to set the record straight on her cosmetic procedures. She acknowledged there was a lot of speculation about what injections she’s received over the years, which she found surprising, as she’s always been so transparent about which procedures she’s received.

“I’m honestly so open to it, and I feel like my fans know that, and my audience knows that,” Gia said. “That’s why I don’t get it. I’m like, ‘I’m so open with you guys. Why are they questioning it?’”

She continued: “The OG watchers of Real Housewives have seen my lips since I was a little kid, and I have never touched them. I have gotten a little bit of Botox in my forehead, in my 11s (glabellar lines), but nothing else major besides my nose. So, I’m very open. I want my audience to feel like I am being honest with them… The real ones know.”

Teresa is also no stranger to cosmetic procedures. The mother of four had her first breast augmentation in 2008 and had a second boob job about 10 years later. The Jersey mom also confirmed she’s had lip filler, Botox, and rhinoplasty. She spoke about the latter procedure during her appearance at the 2021 New Jersey Ultimate Women’s Expo, revealing she used the same nose doctor as Gia.

“I don’t know if anybody knows, but I did get the tip of my nose done and I was so nervous about getting it,” she told the audience, per The Sun. “So I guess I got a nose job — the tip of it — and I used Dr. Tobias in Englewood, [New Jersey]. He was amazing.”

Teresa said her now-husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, was also supportive of her rhinoplasty decision.

“I asked Louie, I’m, like, ‘Babe, should I get my nose done?’” she recalled. “And he’s like, ’Is it going to make you feel better?’ And I said, ’Yes.’ So he said, ‘Do it.’”
