Jason Kelce’s captivating smile has captured the attention of many fans. Did the NFL star enhance his teeth with braces or whitening?
Jason Kelce is one of the most celebrated players in the NFL, having won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018 and earning seven Pro Bowl selections and six first-team All-Pro honors.
The 36-year-old center is also known for his charismatic personality and his passionate speeches, such as the one he delivered at the Eagles’ victory parade in 2018.
But there is another aspect of Kelce’s appearance that has drawn attention from fans and media alike: his teeth.
Kelce has been spotted with a bright smile that seems to have improved over the years, leading some to wonder if he has undergone any dental procedures to enhance his pearly whites.
Jason Kelce Teeth: Has He Used Braces Or Whitening?
Kelce has not publicly confirmed or denied whether he has used braces or whitening to improve his teeth, but there is some evidence that suggests he might have done so.
In a 2014 interview with ESPN, Kelce revealed that he had a gap between his front teeth when he was younger, which he said made him self-conscious.
He also said that he used to wear a mouthguard that covered his teeth during games, but he stopped doing so after his rookie season.
“I had a gap between my two front teeth, and I was always insecure about it,” said Kelce. “My first year, I covered my teeth with a mouthpiece because I didn’t want anyone to see it. But then I thought, forget it, you know what? I am this person.
However, in recent photos and videos of Kelce, the gap between his front teeth seems to have disappeared, indicating that he might have used braces or aligners to close it.
Additionally, his teeth appear to be whiter and brighter than before, suggesting that he might have used whitening products or treatments to achieve that effect.
Kelce’s brother, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, has also been seen with a dazzling smile that looks similar to Jason’s.
Travis has admitted using Invisalign, a brand of clear aligners, to straighten his teeth in 2017. “I had braces when I was younger, but I didn’t wear my retainer like I was supposed to,” Travis told GQ in 2019.
“So my teeth started shifting again. I decided to get Invisalign because I wanted to have a nice smile and feel confident about myself.”
Jason Kelce Health Updates 2024
Aside from his teeth, Jason Kelce has also been in the news for his health updates in 2024.
The veteran lineman has been dealing with various injuries throughout his career, including knee, elbow, foot and ankle issues.
He has also contemplated retirement several times but has always decided to return for another season.
In 2023, after the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round of the playoffs, Kelce reportedly told his teammates that he planned to retire.
However, he later clarified that he had not made a final decision yet and that he would announce it when the time was right.
Kelce said he still loved playing football but also wanted to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests.
He said that he would weigh the pros and cons of continuing his career with the Eagles or hanging up his cleats for good. “I love this game. I love this team. I love this city,” Kelce said.
“But I also have a life outside of football. I have a wife and two kids who mean everything to me. I have other passions and hobbies that I want to explore. It’s not an easy decision to make.”
Kelce also said that he was proud of what he had accomplished in his 13-year career with the Eagles, which included winning a Super Bowl ring, being named one of the best centres of all time, and being a leader and mentor for his teammates.
