Alexandra Shapiro is a criminal defense attorney and author with a career spanning over 30 years. She started out as one of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s initial clerks at the United States Supreme Court and is a partner at the New York-based firm Shapiro Arato Bach LLP.

Her legal practice specializes in appeals, white collar defense, and intricate civil litigation. She has effectively represented high-profile Wall Street executives, public officials, and both major public and private companies.
