How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Miami on Bravo Wednesdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The tension between Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, and Lisa’s boyfriend, Jody Glidden, intensified even after the cameras stopped rolling for The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7, Episode 2.

Although Larsa and Lisa managed to mend their friendship slightly during designer Philipp Plein’s after-party at Milan Fashion Week, the peace was short-lived. A week later, Larsa recounted to her fellow RHOM cast members, Alexia Nepola, Julia Lemigova, Guerdy Abraira, Kiki Barth, and Marysol Patton, detailing the chaos with Jody that unfolded when “the cameras went off for the night.”

“Lisa and I were beginning to get along and made some headway, but on the last night in Milan, Jody lost it,” Larsa explained. “He wouldn’t let us talk, and he was yelling over us…”

Larsa then displayed a red carpet photo of Jody from that night that caused Kiki to gasp, as her jaw dropped and both she and Marysol exclaimed, “Oh my god!”

Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, and Jody Glidden explain their drama

Though you’ll have to wait until Episode 3 airs on June 25 to get more details on what went down, Larsa had already gone toe-to-toe with Lisa and Jody several times in Milan, as they hashed out their issues with each other.

During their “awkward” shared ride from the airport to their hotel, Lisa brought up how it was “hurtful” that Larsa repeated her ex-boyfriend Marcus Jordan’s alleged claim that “Jody is really cheap” at his birthday party, amid a disagreement about the couple “hanging out with” her ex.

“You were at my birthday saying all these things about me when I was like… I hugged you, I was nice to you,” Jody chimed in. “That’s not a nice thing to do at somebody’s birthday.”

Larsa, for her part, sarcastically granted him and Lisa free rein to “be friends with Marcus” and “choose him” over her, despite him “publicly bashing” her in the press and on social media. Still, she cautioned Jody, “He doesn’t consider you a friend,” theorizing that Marcus was just “using” him to get to her, whether he chose to believe her or not.

What led to Larsa Pippen and Jody Glidden’s off-camera “tension”

Prior to the fashion show, Lisa and Jody unpacked the aforementioned argument in their hotel room. As the tech company CEO told it, he “jumped in” the conversation due to Larsa questioning why Lisa would fly to Italy if her ailing father possibly only had one week left to live, as she had described.

“She also shouldn’t be reacting to me about something that was in the news about her that I didn’t even read,” Jody added, as a headline about Marcus shading Larsa on Instagram flashed on the screen. “There’s way bigger things to be worried about in my life and in your life and, hopefully, in hers.”

A bit later, Larsa — who, in a confessional, had referred to Jody as “just another face in the crowd” at Philipp Plein’s show — decided to snap selfies instead of watching Lisa walk the runway. However, Jody seemed relatively unbothered, having already cracked a joke about her purposely throwing marbles on the catwalk to cause his girlfriend trip and fall.

By the time the after party rolled around, Lisa and Larsa briefly chatted one-on-one and agreed to have a sitdown when they returned to Miami. Though Jody was shown arriving to the celebration, he was nowhere to be found afterward. Following some mediation from fellow guest and rapper Fabolous, who offered advice on how to “squash” their beef amid a discussion about loyalty, Lisa immediately began searching for MIA Jody.

“He’s gonna get mad at me,” she told Larsa of her boyfriend, further explaining that “he feels, like, alone and left out.”

Back in Miami, a producer asked Lisa if she knew where Jody went that night, to which she responded, “I don’t know. Jody’s his own person. Like, I don’t control him.”

Larsa, for her part, wondered in a confessional why Jody wasn’t “there to support” Lisa, who had walked in the Philipp Plein show, along with her son, Preston Pippen.

They did all meet up again at some point, though: As onscreen text noted, “the tension between Lisa, Larsa, and Jody” continued off camera.

As you await more intel on what really went down between the trio, don’t miss what Larsa spilled about the “embarrassing” reason her relationship with Marcus ended.
