Lindy Ruff and his wife have four children: two sons, Brett and Brian, and two daughters, Madeleine and Eryn Ruff.

Meet Lindy Ruff Son Brett And Brian Ruff

Despite leaving as head coach of the New Jersey Devil, Lindy Ruff focuses on his children.

Lindy’s son, Brett, is a Hockey Administration Coordinator with the Buffalo Sabres. He interned with a variety of organizations before securing his current position.

Brett graduated from Syracuse University in 2012 with a degree in sports management and was an active member of the college’s sports management club.

Brian, Lindy’s other son, demonstrated his talent while playing for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres.

Brian told the NHL how his father introduced him to skating at an early age. Conversely, Lindy never forced him to play hockey; instead, he supported Brian’s decisions.

Brian made considerable progress in hockey, particularly after joining the OJHL squad in the early 2010s.

His accomplishments must have made his parents quite proud. Brian appears to have paused his playing career, as his last game for the Sabres was in 2013.

Lindy Ruff’s children have pursued their careers, echoing their father’s passion for hockey.

While Brett flourishes in a managerial job, Brian’s hockey career has been filled with highs and lows, and he may be taking a break for the time being.

Regardless, Lindy’s encouragement and mentoring undoubtedly influenced his children’s hockey careers.

Lindy Ruff Daughters Madeleine And Eryn Ruff

Brian Ruff and his twin sister Madeleine Ruff were born on August 16, 1994, making them the youngest members of their family.

While Madeleine’s life experience has been more public, her twin sister, Eryn Ruff, prefers privacy and avoids social media.

Despite her quiet profile, Eryn finds contentment away from the public eye.

Madeleine, on the other hand, grew up nicely but experienced a difficult phase during her adolescence when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006.

Fortunately, she had successful surgery at a Buffalo hospital and has since been in good condition.

After recovering, Madeleine continued higher education, enrolling at Boston University in 2014 to study behavioral and health sciences.

She graduated in 2017 and pursued a doctorate in occupational therapy from Belmont University in 2020.

Madeleine has several certifications and licenses, including a Texas occupational license and certificates in occupational therapy, adult and pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED.

In her professional journey, Madeleine has held positions such as a personal care attendant at People Inc. and a teacher assistant at Castlebar Special School.

She completed internships at the University of Chicago Medical Center and Shine Pediatric Therapy, demonstrating her commitment to helping others through occupational therapy.

Overall, Lindy Ruff’s children have grown up and succeeded significantly in their occupations.

Hopefully, they will succeed more in the coming days and live pleasant lifestyles.
