Love Island’s Lucy Quinn has addressed the leaked voice note that caused quite a commotion, while her partner Tommy Bradley has defended her amid the fallout.
The viral clip, released before they entered the villa, disclosed Lucy’s strategy to team up with Tommy to “reach the finale,” along with some unkind remarks about fellow contestant Megan Forte Clarke.

Lucy’s Explanation and Apology
During Aftersun, Lucy confirmed that the voicenote was real but clarified her intentions.
“I was talking about the end goal being with someone like Tommy for the long haul,”
she explained, highlighting his respectful demeanor and her father’s approval.
She also apologized for referring to Megan as a “slapper,” admitting,
“I’m not that kind of girl.”
Tommy supported her, saying the comments were just a reflection of the excitement before entering the villa and casual chats among friends.
Tommy’s Defense and Fan Reactions
Tommy minimized the incident, claiming it was “overblown,” comparing it to his own casual chats with friends. While some fans questioned Lucy’s authenticity, others commended her for owning up to it.
Host Maya Jama joked about the betrayal from Lucy’s friend, which Lucy confirmed had led to her cutting ties.
The Aftermath and Moving Forward
The couple, who were voted out by Shakira and Ty, described the decision as “bitchy” but seemed solid and united after leaving the villa.
Meanwhile, Megan reflected on her own run-ins with Tommy, calling her behavior impulsive.
